You are a person passionate about the well being and interests of the people.  You are capable of mediating and coordinating the collective affairs of your people. You are passionate about bridging the gaps of communication and leading your people to the front row where they can be be better heard.

You are the ears and eyes of the Airdrie Black Community and a most vital link between the association and its members .  You are a Community Coordinator!

Roles and responsibilities

1.      Become the link between the members in your community and the association.

2.      Maintain a good rapport between yourself and the members in your community.

3.      Help coordinate community teams to participate in ABC calendared events, such as tournaments, expos, workshops, town halls, BBQ, etc.

4.      Help coordinate community members towards electoral representation at the municipality level.

5.      Provide actionable feedback regarding community needs, concerns or recommendations.

6.      Welcome new members to our community and convey greetings and tokens on behalf of the ABC.

7.      Help identifying business opportunities within the community and or skill sets that need to be made available to the community as a whole.

8.      Talking with other Community Coordinators to confer on issues, share good practice, and seek advice or knowledge about specific members.

9.      Actively seek potential project ideas, find possible contributors amongst community members, propose projects to the ABC Management Team

10.  Participate in ABC Board and or Management meetings as required.
