Strengthening our Diversity

About Us

The Airdrie Black Community (ABC)  is a non-profit organization association. We are a non-religious & non-political organization association established in January 2022 and legally registered in July 2022.

OUR VISION
To foster a mutually beneficial bond between Airdrie’s black residents. A bond that appreciates the value of community and cultural diversity, a generationally forward-thinking community,  maximizing our diverse economic, civic, and social potential.
OUR MISSION
To establish and harness the potential of a healthy intra-relationship amongst a culturally diverse community, that will allow us to maximize our networking capacity, leverage our collective experience, and elevate our net worth through our social interactions and programs.
History
“In the beginning were people of black descent living in the City of Airdrie, with everyone doing their own thing without a common platform that connected them together to achieve and make a greater impact”.

Message from the ABC Board of Directors

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Airdrie Black Community (ABC), we extend our warmest welcome to every visitor, supporter, and member of our growing movement.

Our Board is honoured to serve this community and to work alongside passionate volunteers who believe in the power of unity, representation, & collective progress. Each member of ABC brings valuable history, experien-ce, & cultural richness to our organization, and it is our privilege to support and guide initiatives that reflect the needs and aspirations of our people.
This website represents our commitment to transparency, connection, and accessibility. It provides a central hub where members can access important updates, engage in programs, explore the Business Directory, and take advantage of members-only benefits designed to foster economic empowerment and community participation.
Under the leadership of our President and guided by our administration’s commitment to RISE, we continue to strengthen our foundation while advancing bold goals including the development of the ABC Foundation and our future ABC Community Centre. As a Board, we believe our diversity is our strength, and our unity is our power. Thank you for your engagement, your membership, and your continued support.
