Business Expo

The ABC Business Exposition is one of ABC’s robust initiatives centered around and aimed at building, grooming, empowering, and promoting black-owned businesses in Airdrie through business forums & business exhibition.

Black History Celebration

The ABC Black History Ceremony celebrates the strength, richness, and diversity of the Black Community in Airdrie through various programs.

Canada Parade

The ABC July 1 Canada Day Parade focuses on showcasing the Black heritage and strength in diversity whilst celebrating Canada’s independence at the Airdrie Canada Day Parade.

Community Barbeque

The ABC’s annual BBQ event is a summer event that celebrates ABC’s existence and growth, by bringing the community together for an evening of networking and festivities, with the aim of fostering unity and helping members build social capital.

Youth Group & Programs

The ABC Youth Group Programs groom the youth group of the Airdrie Black Community, through career counselling programs, mentor connect programs, resume building, language lessons, and other youth development programs, while also strengthening social interactions among our youth group.

Kids Programs

The ABC Kids Programs, including but not limited to summer camp programs, talent hunt programs, homework club, are tailored towards equipping the ABC Kids with extensive tools, resources, and skills to aid a well rounded development and growth.

Programs

ABC’s mental health programs focus on sustaining and improving the mental wellness of ABC members through mental wellness orientation, support networks, self-development programs, connect groups.

Food and Clothing Drive

Through donations and gifts, ABC provides food and clothing packages to new members of the community, as well as members with modest income.
